WATCH: Hasbro uploads FULL G.I.Joe episodes in YouTube!

Fans of nostalgia and retro cartoon action are in for a real treat during these trying times, as Hasbro has done the deed and uploaded FULL EPISODES of the classic "G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero" TV Series to YouTube! Released in 1983 to compliment the popular toyline as well as the Marvel Comics series, the show followed after Hasbro commissioned Marvel Productions to produce animated commercials promoting the toys.

Following the immense popularity of those ads, a five-part animated mini-series was produced - focusing on the Joes battling their mortal enemies, the terrorist organization known as Cobra, as they raced to find three elements that powered a matter transporting machine known as the M.A.S.S Device. That pilot series would pave the way for more episodes and seasons to come, and the rest as they would say is history.

This is a great opportunity to give viewers new and old a chance to see these classics and the legacy of G.I. Joe, as well as hype up the new "G.I.Joe Classified Series" 6" line of action figures coming from Hasbro! Go on and see these classics now!

Flashback Friday: Spider-Man: 1981 TV Series turns 33 years!

Just in time for Flashback Friday and remembering an old superhero cartoon goodie, a certain show featuring our friendly neighborhood webslinger just turned 33 years old this day, and that's the 1981 Spider-Man Animated Series by Marvel!

As a kid, it was one of the first superhero shows I saw next to SuperFriends, and THE FIRST Spider-Man cartoon I was introduced to! Voiced by Ted Schwartz, Peter Parker/ Spider-Man had many adventures in the show that saw him clash with many of his greatest enemies - including the Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus, Sandman, and even Doctor Doom!

And then there's that classic intro sequence from the show... Ah memories!

With Spider-Verse up on the horizon this November and so much already gone and done for the character's legacy, Spider-Man truly has come along in an AMAZING way!

Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes Trailer 2 debuts!

Via Comic Book Resources, Marvel TV has released the very first trailer for Disney XD's second season of their popular animated series "Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes"! In it we get a series of scenes teasing what's to come, including the return of old foes and the coming of enemies that are far bigger than what one mere hero can face. The real dilemma though is within the ranks of the Avengers themselves, as bigger threats loom over a war between two alien factions... And not everyone is who they seem to be. Expect costume changes and more hero and villains to appear... including The Red Hulk!? Be sure to see the trailer for yourselves below!

"Beware the Batman" animated series debuts on 2013

Announced by Warner Bros. during the MIP Junior Market Convention in Cannes, France on Sunday and reported by sites Comic Book Movie and Superherohype, it appears that a new Batman animated series is in the works by Warner Bros. Animation, but will be done in CGI like that of the upcoming Green Lantern: The Animated Series.

Titled "Beware The Batman", Warner Bros. executive vice president for creative affairs Sam Register confirmed that the new series will debut sometime in 2013, and will feature "a classic looking Batman teaming up with a gun-totting Alfred Pennyworth and a female sidekick ninja named Katana (who may be THE SAME Katana from Batman's own team creation, The Outsiders).

Executive-produced by legendary and longtime Batman: The Animated Series collaborator Glen Murakami, Beware The Batman will explore the more obscure villains of the Bat-mythology, featuring the likes of Professor Pyg in his rogues gallery. However, that's not to say that classic villains like The Joker or Penguin won't be making any appearances either. Also, despite the fact that Batman will team up with a young female-sidekick named Katana, that doesn't mean she will be a replacement for Robin.

At this point, I don't know what to feel about a CGI Batman cartoon series, but it's too early to say, and no other noteworthy info about the series was given other than the announcement and year it will be released. For more info, visit the source posts at The World's Finest, CBM, and Superherohype.

Beware The Batman is slated for release sometime in 2013!
