Hawkeye premieres on Disney + on November 24, First Look photo released by EW

 

After production wrapped up months ago and fans anxiously waited for news on when the show would be released, Marvel Studios and Entertainment Weekly have officially revealed when "Hawkeye" will be streaming on Disney + - and it starts this November 24! The "Phase 4" series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will see Jeremy Renner once again don the bow and quiver as Clint Barton/ Hawkeye - as he takes on a new apprentice and partner in Kate Bishop who is training to be Hawkeye herself and is played by Hailee Steinfeld!

Set to premiere in just over a month's time, Marvel Studios has released a brand new short trailer for "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" - which is called "Need" and hypes up the coming of a new warrior and his destiny in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Hasbro Pulse reveals What If? Marvel Legends Uatu Wave, Hydra Stomper Deluxe Figure, and More!

 

Prepare those wallets if you happen to be a Marvel Legends collector, as Hasbro Pulse dropped the Bombshell Announcement of their next wave of Marvel Legends figures - namely based on the upcoming “What If?” animated series set in the MCU by Marvel Studios and airing on Disney + next month!

The wave is made up of Loki’s variant Sylvie, and alternate takes on T’Challa as Star-Lord, Nebula, Spider-Man, Zombie Cap, Doctor Strange Supreme, and Captain Carter, with the Build-A-Figure being Uatu The Watcher!

The announcement for that series doesn’t end there though, as there’s a DELUXE HYDRA STOMPER figure coming too!

Promotions for the upcoming HasLabs Galactus were also discussed - and the figure is HUGE as expected!

Lin addition- a comic version of Binary, rerelease of MCU Vulture with wings, and a Tigra classic ML card action figures were also announced!

Plus - a Black colored Hand Ninja for army builders!

Black Widow Digital and Home Media release dates revealed

 Looks like those who are looking to update their digital and home media libraries with the latest film in the MCU finally have dates to bookmark - as Marvel Studios and Disney have announced the digital and home media release dates for  "Black Widow" - the long awaited solo flick vehicle for Scarlett Johansson's superspy hero and Avenger and the first movie for Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe that premiered in theaters and Disney + earlier this month.

As detailed by Comic Book Movie, Black Widow will make its way to digital outlets on August 10, while physical media like Ultra 4K, Blu-Ray, and DVD will get it the following month on September 14. New Dead Space game revealed, Teaser released at EA Live 2021

 

One of the most critically acclaimed survival horror franchises from the past decade is finally making a long awaited return, as Electronic Arts finally confirmed at the end of the EA Play Live 2021 digital event that "Dead Space" is back - and it looks to be a remake of the original as the familiar setting of the USG Ishimura returns as well as the Necromorphs and the lead character of the series, Isaac Clarke!

No other specific details have been revealed about the new Dead Space game, but it is coming to next-gen consoles in the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S as well as PC users.

Leslie Grace wins the role of Batgirl for upcoming movie by Warner Bros. and DC Films

Looks like Warner Bros. and DC Films have found their new Batgirl, as "Into The Heights" star and singer/ actress Leslie Grace has been chosen for the role of Barbara Gordon and her alter ego. 

As Deadline reports - grace underwent a screen test this week along with several other candidates for the role of Batgirl and emerged the favorite choice. She will be starring in the movie to be directed by "Bad Boys For Life" directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah - and it will be released on HBO Max some time down the line.

Super7 and Hasbro unveil New G.I.Joe Ultimates and ReAction Figures

 

Joining forces to showcase one of the most anticipated collaborations yet, Super7 and Hasbro have officially unveiled their new G.I.Joe Ultimates and REAction Figures - which take inspiration from the classic Sunrise and Marvel Entertainment animated series released by Hasbro in the 80's!

As detailed by Super7, the Ultimates line of figures start things off with Duke, Snake Eyes, a Battle Andriod Trooper, and Cobra Commander, while the ReAction figures feature some familiar troops and characters from the series!

New G.I.Joe Animated Series slated for 2022 release

 

Looks like G.I.Joe fans are going to be getting some good old fashioned "Yo Joe!" and "Cobra!" action come next year, as a new G.I.Joe animated series has been announced and is slated for a 2022 release!

The news comes courtesy of HISSTANK, who attended the Licensing Con Brazil event where Hasbro Brazil announced that Hasbro will be debuting a new animated series based on the iconic 80's action force franchise.

While little details about the show were revealed, a teaser clip was shared showing off how the new series will look like - with fan favorite ninjas Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow fighting some enemies, with new futuristic outfits that are somewhat like or inspired partially by the Classified Series action figures out now in the toy market.

While no release date has been given for the new Joe series, it will have a second season as well that is set to debut in 2023.

Deadpool and Korg react to Free Guy Trailer in hilarious reaction video

 

Leave it to Ryan Reynolds to post something out of nowhere and get a load of laughs and the first "crossover" between Deadpool and MCU character, as the Hollywood star who plays "The Merc with a Mouth" has uploaded a reaction video where Deadpool and Thor's pal Korg (played by Taika Waititi) react to Reynolds' upcoming comedy flick "Free Guy"!

Catwoman: Lonely City Mini-Series coming from Cliff Chiang this October

 

What would happen if Selina Kyle got her own version of a "Dark Knight Returns" style story, but without Batman, Joker, or Commissioner Gordon around? That's the question artist and writer Cliff Chiang will answer with a new DC Black Label story coming this October in "Catwoman: Lonely City" - a four-part miniseries that sees an older Selina released from prison and facing a very different Gotham City.

Via Newsarsama, here's the synopsis.

"10 years ago, the massacre known as Fools’ Night claimed the lives of Batman, the Joker, Nightwing, and Commissioner Gordon… and sent Selina Kyle, the Catwoman, to prison," reads DC's description of Catwoman: Lonely City. "A decade later, Gotham has grown up - it’s put away costumed heroism and villainy as childish things. The new Gotham is cleaner, safer…and a lot less free, under the watchful eye of Mayor Harvey Dent and his Batcops. 

"It’s into this new city that Selina Kyle returns, a changed woman…with her mind on that one last big score: the secrets hidden inside the Batcave! She doesn’t need the money—she just needs to know…who is 'Orpheus?'"

Catwoman: Lonely City goes on sale with its first issue on October 19.

Loki: Loki variants character posters released

 

Promoting "Glorious Purpose" in a literal variety of ways following the release of the penultimate episode last week, Marvel Studios and Disney + have released new character posters for "Loki" - featuring the 5 different variants that have become fan favorites in the show including "Classic Loki", "Boastful Loki", "Kid Loki", "President Loki", and "Alligator Loki"!

It's time to prepare for the continuing adventures of Geralt and Ciri after nearly two years of waiting, as Netflix revealed during this inaugural WitcherCon the premiere date and first trailer for The Witcher Season 2!

As revealed during Sony and PlayStation's latest State of Play event, Hideo Kojima showcased more of his improved and enhanced version of his newest IP game Death Stranding - which is titled "Death Stranding Director's Cut" and is coming to the PS5 this September!

Batman: The Long Halloween Special Coming This October from Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale

 

25 years after it originally released as a 13 issue miniseries before becoming one of the critically-acclaimed Batman graphic novel stories of all time, Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale are reuniting to return to the world of "Batman: The Long Halloween", as DC Comics has announced "Batman: The Long Halloween Special" - a 48 page prestige series book that will be coming out this October!

However that's not all, as Newsarama broke the story and also noticed that "specials" was in plural during the press release -- hinting that there could be more of these down the line and we could be getting more stories set in this very engaging storyline which inspired Christopher Nolan's Batman movies and the new DC Universe Movie adaptations of Batman: The Long Halloween - with Part One now available and Part Two coming later this month!

The Last of Us HBO Series will consist of 10 episodes

 

Fans of Naughty Dog's Survival Horror action adventure game series The Last of Us are going to get a good serving of episodes once the show finishes production and airs, as showrunner and writer Craig Mazin and John August in an episode of their podcast Scriptnotes have discussed and revealed that the upcoming TV Series adaptation that is set to premiere on HBO sometime will consist of 10 episodes. That's a pretty good number, and should give Game of Thrones alums Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey a lot of stuff to work with.

With a proper trailer still due to showcase what to expect for the next webslinging adventure starring Tom Holland as the webslinging hero of the MCU, Marvel has shared photos at the first look at official merchandise coming for "Spider-Man: No Way Home" - which features Funko Pop vinyl figures, Marvel Legends action figures, accessories, and more for the characters in the much anticipated film - including Spider-Man/ Peter Parker, MJ, Ned Leeds, and the Master of the Mystic Arts himself, Doctor Strange!

In addition to Funkos, Lego sets, and more, the Marvel Legends figures also include Doctor Strange, J. Jonah Jameson, and two new suits Peter will use in the upcoming film!
