A classic Justice League villain will be at the center of The Flash Season 8's "Armageddon" crossover type storyline, as Entertainment Weekly confirms that Despero is the big bad of that upcoming event - which will see Grant Gustin's Barry Allen/ Flash teaming up with familiar heroes from the Arrowverse/ CW-Verse such as Brandon Routh's Atom and Kat McNamara's Green Arrow.
Despero of course is an alien from another world with powerful psychic powers - who has opposed the Justice League for many years since his creation in the 1960's. He'll be played by Tony Curran in The CW, who has also starred in Doctor Who, X-Men: First Class, Thor: The Dark World, and Marvel's Daredevil series on Netflix.
The Flash Season 8 begins on November 8 on The CW.
The Arrowverse will be having its annual crossover event again soon and using a familiar DC storyline name to boot, as "Armageddon" has been announced for November 18 - beginning with the premiere episode of The Flash's eight season and stretching for a five part arc that will feature the return of familiar heroes such as Brandon Routh's The Atom, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, and Kat McNamara's Mia Smoak Queen/ Green Arrow. Tom Cavanagh and Neal McDonough return as well as Reverse-Flash and Damien Darhk.

After releasing a behind the scenes teaser montage during Netflix Geeked Week a couple of months back, Netflix has unveiled some pretty awesome photos featuring John Cho, Mustafa Shakir, and Daniella Pineda as Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, and Faye Valentine respectively for the Live-Action Cowboy Bebop series!
As you can see with the exception of some alterations for Faye, most of the costumes have stuck and are at least faithful with Spike and Jet. Ein is also present and of course played by a real-life Corgi... And that's going to melt the hearts of fans everywhere. No Ed in sight sadly, but you can check out the rest of the pics here.

Set to make its way into cinemas soon, Sony Pictures, Columbia Pictures, and Marvel Entertainment have release two brand new theatrical posters for "Venom: Let There Be Carnage" - the sequel to the 2018 film and bringing back Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/ Venom and introducing a newly powered Cletus Kasady as Carnage as played by Woody Harrelson.
The two posters are pretty much self explanatory - Venom and Carnage's faces oppose each other in one poster (echoing the 2018 films face off with Eddie and Venom), and then one where both "father and son" are locked in a battle to the death!
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is directed by Andy Serkis and will be coming to cinemas soon!

Looks like fans are finally getting their first glimpse of Marc Spector in the MCU, as supposedly leaked photos of Oscar Isaac as Moon Knight have surfaced online!
The two photos, as featured in Twitter and Comic Book Movie - show a very unique take on the iconic Marvel hero and Avenger's costume - which looks more ninja like but still remains faithful design wise to the one seen in the comics. No doubt these came from a reel that hasn't officially aired yet, but looks like we'll be getting news if Marvel Studios responds to these leaks soon.
Moon Knight is part of Phase 4 of the MCU and will be a Disney + TV Series that's coming soon.

Romero's 1968 horror film masterpiece "Night of the Living Dead" is getting the animated film treatment - as Warner Bros. has revealed "Night of the Animated Dead" - which will be hitting Digital and Home Video in the next few months and features an all-star voice cast to boot!

Two of the Big Three members of Earth's Mightiest Heroes are teaming up again for the very first time, as Marvel Comics has announced a "Captain America Iron Man" five issue miniseries - which teams Steve Rogers and Tony Stark together in their own book that's reminiscent of the Tales of Suspense stories from the 1960's!
As reported by Newsarama - the new series will be written by Derek Landy and illustrated by Angel Unzueta, and sees Cap and Ol' Shellhead team up to take on a new Hydra villain... As well as a bigger conspiracy that leads to the big organization itself. Sounds like a big adventure awaiting these two Avengers - and something that doesn't see them at odds against one another ala Marvel's Civil War.

We're just a few days away from the release of the next chapter of "Phase 4" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Marvel Studios is preparing us for the first episode of "What If?" this week with the release of a couple of character posters for Episode 1 focusing on Captain Carter and The Hydra Stomper - alternate universe versions of Peggy Carter and Steve Rogers in which the script is flipped and the female SSR agent becomes the recipient of the Super Soldier Serum instead of Steve!
With these character posters we see Peggy and Steve inside The Hydra Stomper armor in the spotlight!

Big news has arrived for those playing Street Fighter V, as the SFV Summer Update 2021 has come and gone -- and it presented some new information and details on the upcoming Season 5 fighters Oro and Akira, as well as revealing the fifth and last DLC character for the season in a new fighter called Luke!
As revealed in the Summer Update presentation, Street Fighter 3 veteran Oro and Rival Schools biker gal fighter Akira are going to be available for players to use starting August 16!
