New York Toy Fair '19: Hasbro unveils their new line-up of Marvel products

It's a great time to be a toy collector and a Marvel fan, as the New York Toy Fair is currently ongoing and showcasing some of the latest and greatest stuff that'll be coming out this year and beyond! Of course, eagle eyed Marvel fans are looking to what comes next from Hasbro in the Marvel Legends series - and from classic line-ups to figures based on the characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

As seen in Cosmic Book News and Marvelous News,  an official showcase of preview pictures for the upcoming Marvel toys have been released  - including a look at the Spider-Man: Far From Home wave and some classic MCU faces that have yet to appear in 6" action figure form - including WWII Rescue Suit Captain America and Peggy Carter, and a Spider-Man: Homecoming two-pack that includes Spider-Man with a yellow jacket and MJ as played by Zendaya!

Also that's not to say the comic book side isn't getting any love - from Spider-Man characters like Julia Carpenter, Doppelganger, Hydro-Man, and The Scorpion getting releases, the X-MEN are also getting A LOT of new characters, and then ALEX ROSS versions of characters like Iron Man, Thor, and Cap are coming as well.

The Punisher: "Surprise" promo video released

Set to be released later this fall, Marvel and Netflix have released a new promotional video for "The Punisher" - with former The Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal back as Frank Castle/ The Punisher going all guerilla against a group of soldiers.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" trailer recreated in 8-Bit retro style!

In what is certainly a fun and pretty awesome gaming recreation of the first trailer of one of the most anticipated movies this year, Joblo Movie Trailers has recreated for their "8-Bit Trailers" series (as reported by Cosmic Book News) the first "Spider-Man: Homecoming" trailer using beautiful, 8-bit retro gaming style graphics! It just needs to be seen to be believed!

Watch: Justice League Action intro released

Set to air in Cartoon Network in the middle of next month, Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, and CN themselves have released the full intro video to "Justice League Action" - their brand new cartoon series featuring the DC Heroes back together as the formidable superhero group and featuring Kevin Conroy back as Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Fan made "Weird Halloween Trailer" released

If it wasn't any indication of "Trick or Treat" season, here's a fun and creative spoof fan made edit of the recently released "sneak peek" trailer of "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2",

The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Season 3 comes out this November

Since getting a reveal trailer a few months back and promised to see release later this fall, Telltale Games has now unveiled more information and a release date for their upcoming third season of "The Walking Dead: The Telltale series" - which sees the young and now grown up protagonist Clementine returning and a new character being introduced with Javier. Subtitled as "The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - "A New Frontier" The game will come out for consoles and mobile devices starting this November. Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders: Blu-Ray Home Video cover and synopsis revealed

HOLY CLASSIC COVERS BATMAN~! Following the reveal of the very first teaser trailer for the upcoming animated film, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment have revealed the cover and synopsis to "Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders" - which features Adam West and Burt Ward back to voicing Batman and Robin!


Here's the official synopsis (as seen in CosmicBookNews): "It’s back to the 1960s as Batman and Robin spring into action when Gotham City is threatened by a quartet of Batman’s most fiendish foes – Penguin, The Joker, Riddler and Catwoman. DC Rebirth: First "Batman" crossover event "Night of the Monster Men" announced

As the DC Universe and its "Rebirth" go in full swing starting this month with the relaunch and resetting of titles new and old, Batman and his Bat Family are going to have their first major crossover tie-in event with "Night of the Monster Men" - a six part story that happens in the pages of Batman, Detective Comics, and Nightwing - with Bats and his allies fighting a mysterious foe from his past.

Part one begins in September 21st with the release of "Batman #7", then spreading to "Nightwing #5" and then "Detective Comics #941" on September 28th. October will conclude the story with the next issues that follow afterwards in October. For more info, visit Cosmic Book News.

Captain America: Civil War: "Friendship at any Cost" TV Spot released

Hitting theaters internationally in over a week's time and in two weeks in the states, Marvel and Disney are gearing fans up for what will likely be one of the most EPIC superhero films ever made with "Captain America: Civil War" - which sees Earth's Mightiest Heroes and their allies divided over different sides and the superhuman community's future hanging in the balance.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Blu-Ray and DVD to be released on December 9

Mark your dates, Awesome Mix fans... James Gunn has announced that his contribution to the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Guardians of the Galaxy, is officially arriving for Blu-Ray and DVD on December 9!

Via his official Facebook page and a report from CosmicBookNews, the director confirmed the great news:

"Yep. Guardians of the Galaxy is out on Blu-Ray December 9 and you can pre-order it now on Amazon. There are lots of extra features that will be announced soon, but one of them is commentary by me."

So there you have it. Be sure to pre-order in Amazon or your nearest video retailer!

Marvel Cinematic Universe: Hi-Res pic of Josh Brolin as Thanos

Probably most of you caught Guardians of the Galaxy already by now... And probably heard of the official casting of actor Josh Brolin as the big intergalactic baddy of the Marvel Cosmic Universe himself, Thanos the Mad Titan.

Following that big SDCC '14 Marvel Studios' panel announcement that pretty much cemented his new role in an Epic way, the American Gangster and Men In Black III star has appeared in GotG as a "presence" that builds up to something bigger down the line in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character first appeared in Joss Whedon's "The Avengers" in 2012, but in a cameo appearance in the film's mid-credits scene, and was played by actor Damion Poitier.

When the Mad Titans next appearance will be is anyone's guess, but Marvel Studios' producer Kevin Feige did say he could be the villain for the third Avengers film, since Ultron will be the focus of the next MCU movie slated for May 2015 with Avengers: Age of Ultron. Only time will tell for sure.

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis is the next DC Universe Animated Original Movie

Much like how it was teased at the end of Justice League: War, it looks like fans are getting the actual adaptation of the Aquaman-centered storyline that looks to introduce the King of the Seven Seas properly in the DC Universe Animated Original Movies New 52 timeline.

As confirmed from the special features seen in the back of the upcoming Blu-Ray release of the Batman: Assault on Arkham animated movie, Justice League: Throne of Atlantis is the new film slated for the DC Animated film line.

The news comes from World's Finest Online and Cosmic Book News, and viewers who pick up the film in a few months will get a sneak peek on the next animated release.

First published in comic book form in 2013, "Throne of Atlantis" was a five issue story arc that involved the Justice League facing an Atlantean invasion spearheaded by Aquaman's brother Ocean Master, who declares war on the surface world. It would serve as a build up to another big DC event in "Trinity War", and changed the landscape of Aquaman's world indefinitely.

Big things are coming to Rocksteady Studios's epic conclusion to their Batman Arkham video game series with Batman: Arkham Knight... But one wouldn't have expected Zombies to hit the franchise!

According to a report by CosmicBookNews.com, a description seen in Playstation.com reads that an exclusive DLC for the game on PS4 called "Terror Unleashes" will see Batman and his Batmobile not only facing a giant sized version of The Scarecrow, but an army of undead zombies as well! The game is still delayed for an unspecified release date... But this kind of news is exciting and worthwhile to know about should it be true! The Amazing Spider-Man 2: New featurette spotlights "The price of being a hero"

Swinging its way into theaters in about two months time, Sony Pictures and Marvel have released another featurette showing off some new scenes and giving another depth look at Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man film sequel starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/ Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier: New international posters and TV Spot go online

It's still a few weeks away, but Marvel Studios and Disney are turning up the promotion heat for their upcoming new Marvel Cinematic Universe film this year that continues "Phase Two" and is a direct sequel to "Captain America: The First Avenger" and "Marvel's The Avengers" - "Captain America: The Winter Soldier".

After seeing new character posters and a gorgeous second trailer, here's three international character one sheets and a brand new TV Spot that highlight some of the new characters and action to come!
