Arrow: Season 6 Episode 2 has a very wonderful Batman Easter Egg for fans *SPOILER*

With the new season in full swing and giving fans of the show new developments in the life of Star City's resident Emerald Archer vigilante, The CW has released a brand new and very SPOILERIFIC clip for Episode 2 of "Arrow" Season 6 titled "Tribute" - which has Mayor Oliver Queen addressing the press about his current predicament of being revealed as the Green Arrow. He answers questions... AND NAMEDROPS SOMETHING BIG.

Again, this is kind of a SPOILER for those who want to be surprised, but watch away if you need to!




Arrow 6x02 Sneak Peek "Tribute"

That's right... BRUCE WAYNE and GOTHAM EXIST IN THE ARROWVERSE. Mentioned by Amell's Mayor Queen as a jest, it's still AWESOME to hear the alter ego of BATMAN acknowledged! If he actually appeared, that would have gone something like this from Judd Winick's run on Green Arrow!

 While the version Stephen Amell plays is pretty much "Batman in a Bow" in terms of representation in The CW, it's nice to know that this DC Universe is slowly expanding and acknowledging other characters that have yet to appear in television!
