Isaiah Mustafa pitches himself as Luke Cage to Marvel

With all the superhero movies coming out, it would be a surprise if Marvel decided to use secondary string characters that fans wouldn't even imagine seeing secure their own movie. Luke Cage is such a character, and given his renewed popularity based on his current position as a member and leader of the New Avengers, getting his own solo flick would be mighty awesome for people who dig the man with unbreakable skin. As such, Isaiah "Old Spice" Mustafa is taking the initiative to campaign to the House of Ideas that he can play the former "Power Man" in his own film, going as far as to create a "teaser trailer" that was posted over at You Tube and even featured in Slash Film! Best check this out, Cage fans!

Isaiah Mustafa "Luke Cage teaser trailer"!

The question now is... Does he fit the part? You decide for yourselves, and let's see how Marvel reacts to this presentation. For more on the story, visit Slash Film!

David Slade promises official word on "Daredevil" this week.

Rumors have persisted that a reboot on "Daredevil" was inevitably going to happen, and it appears that director David Slade will be making a big announcement regarding the project sometime this week. Having been chosen to direct the film, the man who directed 30 Days of Night and Twilight: Eclipse (the third film in the Twilight franchise) is shouldered with a lot of expectations from fans and the studio, Twentieth Century Fox alike. While he hasn't given any confirmation as who will be starring, the lead role of Matt Murdock is speculated to have potential candidates already, in the form of Twilight star Robert Pattison and Garrett Hedlund. Official word is still pending of course, and all we can do it wait. For more on the story, check out the source post at Screen Rant.

Movie Reviews: Kung Fu Panda 2

Wow, this is the first serious movie review post I'm actually doing in months. Try as I might, I could never really find a good reason to properly review the previous movie I watched in theaters; that being Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Everything about that film just left me utterly disappointed, and while Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) did try to use his charismatic charms to win over audiences, it paled in comparison to the previous Pirate films, especially in terms of story cohesion and action. All things considered, I really felt the movie was forced and dragged on too much before we got anything decent to enjoy about it. This sequel had little to no redeeming qualities to it, and it surprises me why it HAD to be made at all. Not all sequels are bad, but this one takes the cake for "most disappointing" I've seen so far this year.

On the other hand, Kung Fu Panda 2 shines out like a diamond, and Jack Black and his ensemble cast of costars do more than make this fantastic sequel. They made this a fantastic sequel of AWESOMENESS!

Movie: Kung Fu Panda 2

Starring: Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Gary Oldman, Jacky Chan, Lucy Liu, David Cross, Seth Rogen, Michelle Yeoh, James Hong

Directed By: Jennifer Yuh Nelson

Certainly another instant classic for the caravan of people looking for some well-rounded family movie goodness, Kung Fu Panda 2 is definitely a must see for fans of the first film and newbies who have yet to experience the "Skadoosh" that Po the Panda (Jack Black) and his mighty Kung Fu friends share in the big screen. The sequel explores more of the fat Dragon Warrior's origins, and introduces him to a new threat in the form of Lord Shen (voiced by Gary Oldman), a the heir peacock prince of China who was cast out from his home due to an unforgivable incident that ties directly to Po's past. When Shen returns and wrecks havoc in the Valley of Peace and Gongmen City, Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) sends Po and the Furious Five to the rescue, only for Po to freeze at certain instances when he recognizes a symbol belonging to Lord Shen that causes his repressed memories to surface. Confused and determined to find out the truth about his past, Po joins the Five in a race to save the capital, as Lord Shen holds a mysterious powerful weapon that could spell the end of Kung Fu.

Kung Fu Panda 2 Theatrical Trailer

Without giving away too much, all I can say is it's been a damn good wait to see this movie and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Back in 2008, Kung Fu Panda blew me away with its dynamic 3D animation and superbly written story that it was hard not to count it as one of my favorite movies for that year (next to Iron Man, Tropic Thunder, and The Dark Knight). This sequel proves no different in expectations, and delivers much more excitement, intensity, and hilarious moments from the cast at hand. Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Dustin Hoffman, Jacky Chan, Lucy Liu, Seth Rogen, David Cross, Michelle Yeoh, and James Hong return to their respective roles in the movie, and they shine out as completely as they did before (especially Jolie's rle as Master Tigress, who gets more screen time as Po's closest confidant in the Five). Gary Oldman plays the role of villain once more as Lord Shen, and given how audacious and intimidating he can be on those types of roles, I wouldn't expect anything less but perfection from him, and he deliver alright. It was also a surprise to see Jean-Claude Van Damme among the line up for this movie, as he lends his voice to Master Croc of the Kung Fu Council. This all star power adds credence to what is already a fantastically animated film, and while majority of it is in 3D, there are stellar 2D animated sequences to that highlight Po's past with beauty. Oh, and the writing is simply cohesive and brilliant. Never have I felt laughter, sadness, and kung pow fury roll into an animated film so smoothly as this. I am impressed, DreamWorks Animation!

With all that said and needed to be said, Kung Fu Panda 2 is certainly the family-oriented animated treat kids and adults alike deserve and definitely need to see. I may get repetitious with my praising for this sequel, but I was highly impressed by the production values and time given to make this movie as awesome if not better than the first. Another sequel will certainly be in line after this, and I can't see why the studio wouldn't allow it either. Awesomeness is here, and the Panda and his posse deliver!

Rating - 5/5

Legal troubles threaten to divide Superman franchise...

This is both old and new news to hear about, and it will certainly affect the future of Superman in a big way.

As was reported by Variety, Slash Film, and Screen Rant, the ongoing legal battle between DC Comics and the estates of Superman's creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster, may reach a point where both parties may have to split and retain certain rights and key elements to the character. What that basically means is that if things do not work out and both parties do not mutually agree to something, we may see the division of Superman entirely. He won't be wearing the iconic red, blue, and yellow costume everyone knew and grew up with due to copyright issues, and his origins may have to be changed somewhat, at least in the case of DC Universe that is. The phrase "Leaping Tall Buildings In A Single Bound" was coined by the creators, so that will go along with the costume baggage should a separation take place.

In essence, if all of this comes to pass where the respective rights revert back to their creators in 2013 (a year after Zack Snyder's Superman movie "Man of Steel" shows) we may see the birth of two distinctly different versions of "Superman". The Siegel and Shuster's estates own pretty much what makes up the original Superman when he debuted in the pages of Action Comics in 1938. DC still owns international rights, flying, and the villains attached to the character, so there may not be any obvious changes for the modern incarnation at least. However, anything new conjured up will set up grounds for another case again, and it limits both parties from exploring the alter ego of Kal-El/ Clark Kent in many other ways. For more on the story, you can visit Variety, Slash Film, or Screen Rant!

Rumor: DC rebooting the DCU?

Rumors have been swirling that DC is planning to reboot their ENTIRE universe once their newest Flash-centric event, Flashpoint, screeches to a halt and leaves definite changes in its aftermath. With that prospect, what's the sense of restoring certain characters and their status quo after everything that transpired in the pages of Blackest Night and Brightest Day? Comic news blog site Newsarama has an interesting post regarding the matter, and even though I'm not collecting the newest crossover event once again penned by writer Geoff Johns, my eye hasn't escaped the events transpiring right there and now. One can only hope that the DCU doesn't change completely and the new #1 issues to be a reboot for established characters. I'm enjoying my "Batman Inc." Batman status quo, and I'd like it to stick around for the next few years. For more insight on the matter, follow Newsarama and DCU The Source.

Newsarama sits down with David Finch to talk about Batman: The Dak Knight delays!

Being the Batman fan that I am, I collect merchandise related to the Dark Knight with fiery passion. As such, I haven't missed a beat with the comics' scene, and with Batman Inc. going full steam ahead, there's a lot of new stories and books detailing the new adventures of Bruce Wayne's alter ego and his friends as they take the war against crime to a new level. One of the new books is by artist and now writer David Finch, who takes on his own solo Bat-title calle "Batman: The Dark Knight". It's an in-continuity series that focuses more on Bruce's solo exploits rather than his race around the globe to recruit Bat Men in "Batman Inc." or his protege and ward Dick Grayson's ongoing tenure as the second Batman in titles "Batman", "Detective Comics", and "Batman and Robin".

In terms of art, The Dark Knight is visually astounding to see. Story wise, it's Finch's first major break as a writer, and all things considered, is writing is not so bad either. However, because of the double duty he has to pull, the book has seen major delays. Issue #1 was released way back in December 2010, and #2 followed months later on March 2011. Now, issue #3 is solicited for a June release, and the other books promised to follow shortly thereafter. What exactly happened is certainly good cause for discussion, and that's what comic news site Newsarama did when they got to sit down and interview David Finch himself to get answers straight from the writer himself. You can read the whole interview via their post at this link here! It's entertaining and insightful, and something no Bat-fan collecting his book should miss!

Rest In Peace, Macho Man...

Already feeling dismayed and jaded after coming from a somewhat disappointing screening of "Pirates of the Carribean: On Stranger Tides", I learn of the unfortunate passing of a legendary wrestling icon overseas... Arguably one of the BEST known personalities in the business if I do say so myself.

It comes with a heavy heart to share the news that Randall Mario Poffo, better known to the world as "Macho Man Randy Savage", died as a result of a car accident. Reported first by TMZ and eventually coming to popular search engines like Yahoo!, the 58-year-old wrestler reportedly suffered a heart attack while driving his jeep in Tampa, Florida, losing control of his vehicle and hitting a tree head-on. Macho Man then succumbed to his wounds upon arriving at a local hospital. The rest of the report on this tragedy can be read on TMZ or Yahoo! News.

Macho Man Tribute Video

No words can describe the sense of mortality and grief I'm feeling over this sad news. I grew up idolizing Randy Savage as a kid, and his matches and promos were some of the best the wrestling industry had to offer, particularly during his tenure with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now known as WWE or World Wrestling Entertainment) and the now defunct World Championship Wrestling. Like the rest of the world, we'd find ourself mimicking his catchphrases, even going so far as to shout of "OOOOOOOOOHHHHH YYYYYEEEEAAAAAA" or flexing imaginary muscles in the manner of his infamous "Macho poses". His marriage to "Miss Elizabeth" Hulette was one of the most memorable storied pairings/ marriages in professional wrestling history, and he even had his share of appearances in media and film, including Sam Raimi's ever popular 2002 movie adaptation of Marvel's Spider-Man, where Savage played Crusher Hogan, a wrestler whom a newly powered Peter Parker fights in a wrestling show for the prize money. His last genuine appearance was promoting the Xbox 360/ PS3 game "WWE Wrestling All-Stars", where his younger self and other legendary wrestlers fight the new breed of talents, in a mixed generation, cartoony styled wrestling game!

Macho Man Wrestlemania 4 Entrance

It's still hard for me to accept the news properly that another popular icon from my childhood has passed on, but we can only pray that he's in a better place now. R.I.P Macho Man, and keep on shining up there with Miss Elizabeth and the rest of the legends who are with you... OOOOOOHHHHH YYYEEEAAAHHHH!!! I leave you all with this classic interview segment from WWE's past featuring the Macho One himself...

The Dark Knight Rises Update: Official Press Release online

Filming for Christopher Nolan's next and final Batman epic "The Dark Knight Rises" has already begun, and while there's certainly no new information yet to pass around in the movie blog sites other than the usual rumors and set photos, an official press release was given off by Nolan, Warner Bros., and Legendary Pictures, confirming the fact the sequel is underway. As posted in Slash Film, you can take a look at it below:

BURBANK, CA, May 19, 2011 – Principal photography has begun on Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ “The Dark Knight Rises,” the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy.

Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar® winner Christian Bale (“The Fighter”) again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar® winner Marion Cotillard (“La Vie en Rose”), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake. Returning to the main cast, Oscar® winner Michael Caine (“The Cider House Rules”) plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman (“Million Dollar Baby”) reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

In helming “The Dark Knight Rises,” Christopher Nolan is utilizing IMAX® cameras even more extensively than he did on “The Dark Knight,” which had marked the first time ever that a major feature film was partially shot with IMAX® cameras. The results were so spectacular that the director wanted to expand the use of the large-format cameras for this film.

The screenplay for “The Dark Knight Rises” is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is being produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster “The Dark Knight.” The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. “The Dark Knight” is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.

Behind the scenes, “The Dark Knight Rises” reunites the director with several of his longtime collaborators, all of whom worked together on the “The Dark Knight.” The creative team includes director of photography Wally Pfister, who recently won an Oscar® for his work on Nolan’s “Inception”; production designer Nathan Crowley; editor Lee Smith; and Oscar®-winning costume designer Lindy Hemming (“Topsy-Turvy”). In addition, Paul Franklin and Chris Corbould, who both won Oscars® for the effects in “Inception,” will supervise the visual and special effects, respectively. The music will be composed by Oscar® winner Hans Zimmer (“The Lion King”).

The locations for “The Dark Knight Rises” span three continents and include the American cities of Pittsburgh, New York and Los Angeles, as well as sites in India, England and Scotland.

“The Dark Knight Rises” is a presentation of Warner Bros. Pictures, in association with Legendary Pictures. Slated for release on July 20, 2012, the film will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company.

The Dark Knight Rises is slated for a July 20, 2012 release.

The Walking Dead Board Game is coming!

I haven't had time to sit down and play a decent board game in a long time, but this bit of news from Comic Book Resources literally made me jump in excitement over the idea that I may just return to the fold soon playing a new game based on one of my favorite zombie series of all time!

Yessiree folks, it looks like Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" franchise is hitting the board game scene with an official release from the folks at SKYBOUND and Z-Man games! This will allow fans to delve into the lore of what has already become a vast and intriguing story about survival horror, where a group of survivors continue to find ways to survive and deal with the zombie apocalypse and maintain a semblance of their former lives... Without trying to tear each other apart. Players will get the chance to play as favorite characters from the series like Rick Grimes, Shane Walsh, Andrea, Michonne, and a whole lot more, and deal with the undead and collect supplies to survive!

I don't know about you folks, but I'm setting my eyes on this board game and purchasing it when I get the chance! I've been a fan of Kirkman's series since the comics, and its popularity has grown even more thanks to the AMC TV series adaptation that will see its second season premiere later this fall! If you love zombies and survival horror like I do, watch out for this and the opportunity to immerse yourself in the experience!

The Walking Dead Board Game, published by Z-Man Games, designed and developed by MegaGigaOmniCorp, Inc. and To Be Continued, LLC, will be for 1-6 Players and arrives in stores late summer and is slated for a retail price of $39.99. For more info on the game, check out the source post at CBR!

Bloodsport is getting a remake...

Looks like we'll be seeing a remake of a classic martial arts film... kinda.

According to a report from Screen Daily that was also posterd over at Slash Film, Philip Noyce of Salt fame is planning to remake the tournament fighter movie Bloodsport, which starred a then up and coming Jean-Claude Van Damme. However, instead of making it a direct remake, the plan is to have the movie follow the plot of "an American who goes to Brazil to recover from his experiences in Afghanistan, only to find himself competing in a martial arts tournament instead".

Bloodsport 1988 Trailer

This practically follows the same basic premise of "one man vs many fighters in a tournament" as the original Blooodsport, but it's drastically different in terms of plot. The original 1988 movie had Van Damme play true life American martial artist Frank W. Dux, who goes AWOL from the army to fight in an illegal underground tournament known as the "Kumite" in order to honor his Japanese master. It might be too early to tell, but I'm not feeling enthusiastic about the remake news at all. Heck, it has no star attached to it yet, and who can match the caliber of fighting/ presentation that JCVD and Bolo Yeung presented in the original? For more on the story, visit the source posts at Screen Daily and Slash Film.

First Look at The Adventures of Tintin poster!

At last, after being on the dark on how this movie would be fairing before its release, the legendary young adventurer Tintin and his puppy dog Snowy are coming to cinemas this fall! One of my favorite childhood adventure books is coming to the big screen later this year, and it's directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by LOTR director Peter Jackson!

As posted in Slash Film, what you see above is the first poster of "The Adventures of Tintin", which will be a 3D motion capture film based on three classic stories from the Belgian comic book series of the same name by Georges "Herge" Remi. In this movie, acting as an origin flick, our hero Tintin (Jamie Bell) will encounter and meet friends and adversaries for the first time, including Captain Haddock (played by Andy Serkis), and Detective twins Thompson and Thomson (played by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost)! Even James Bond actor Daniel Craig appears in this movie as the legendary pirate Red Rackham, so it's an all star cast for a stellar franchise turned interesting new 3D flick! For more info, visit the source post over at Slash Film!

The Adventures of Tintin comes to 3D and conventional theaters on December 23!

Spider-Man Reboot Update: The Uncle Ben Death Scene filmed!

Movie news sites Screen Rant and SuperHeroHype have posted news and pics from the latest scene to be filmed for the movie "The Amazing Spider-Man" - The "Uncle Ben Death Scene"! This isn't much of a spoiler and comes across as common knowledge to anyone with an inkling of knowledge about the Spider-Man mythos, but consider this a SPOILER still, especially to those who want to remain "spoiler-free" for Marc Webb's Spider-Man film reboot!

The scene plays out pretty much like that in the comics and Sam Raimi's Spider-Man - Uncle Ben, played by veteran actor Martin Sheen, meets his demise at the hands of a burglar. This propels Peter Parker (played by Andrew Garfield) to hunt down the burglar as his alter ego Spider-Man, and when he eventually catches him, he finds out in horror that it's the same thief he had to opportunity to stop during a wrestling gig he entered earlier. This tragic incident teaches Peter a lifelong and valuable lesson; "With Great Power Comes Great Responsibility".

That pretty much sums up the entire nature of this scene. For more pics and info, visit the source posts at Screen Rant and SHH!

First Look At The Expendables 2 poster!

Movie blog sites First Showing and Screen Rant have posted the first look at "The Expendables 2" poster released at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, as well as the official synopsis of the testosterone driven sequel that has Sylvester Stallone and his rag-tag team of mercenaries back on the job! Be warned, the plot contains major SPOILERS for those who want to shy away from the story of the sequel, so best turn your eyes away now!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

"The Expendables are back and this time it’s personal! After Tool (Mickey Rourke), the heart and soul of the Expendables, is brutally murdered on a mission, his comrades swear to avenge him. They’re not the only ones who want blood. Tool’s beautiful young and wild daughter Fiona embarks on her own revenge mission, complicating matters when she is captured and ransomed by a ruthless dictator plotting to destroy a resistance movement. Now Barney and the Expendables must risk everything to save her and humanity."

There you have it! Looks like things are going to turn up a notch action-wise for the sequel, so even if Sly isn't directing, he'll be back in full force as Barney Ross, leading the team built for guns, blaze, and glory! Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger are coming back as well, and rumor has it that Jean-Claude Van Damme and other action stars may be joining in too. We'll just have to wait and see how things turn out. For more info, visit the source posts at First Showing and Screen Rant!

The Expendables 2 is set to be released on August 17, 2012!

Zoe Saldana is a sexy assassin in "Colombiana"!

I'm a fan of Zoe Saldana, and after her works in films like 2009's Star Trek and The Losers, you'd expect her to be getting her big solo flick sometime down the line. Well, that time is fast approaching, as she will headline the next big "dangerous assassin chick" action flick called "Colombiana"! A new trailer for the movie made its debut last Thursday and, via Superherohype, so did a new international poster (above) which looks attractive and appealing enough to draw curiosity for moviegoers like me to go and see this film when it comes out, and it happens to be written by the guys who did that awesome Liam Neeson movie "Taken" and the guys who created "Le Femme Nikita" and "The Professional"! You can check out the trailer and what the movie's story is about right in the embedded player below.

Ezio Auditore returns again in Assassin's Creed: Revelations!

Finally, after days of teasing and speculation, the next Assassin's Creed game's details have been revealed, and gamers will once again assume control and finish the tale of one Ezio Auditore!

Via a post in Kotaku, Ubisoft officially reveals what their next game, Assassin's Creed Revelations, is all about. Picking up where Brotherhood left off, an older Ezio travels to Constantinople in a journey of self-discovery and revelation, taking on the Templar order based on that region who have sinister plans up their sleeves. It's also a safe bet that we'll be seeing his descendant Desmond Miles return, as the last game presented a cliffhanger ending that should definitely be resolved in this one once and for all. Multiplayer will also be making a return with new modes and characters to use, so this should bring a nice end to the Ezio Auditore trilogy of the Assassin Creed series! For more info, check out the source post at Kotaku!

Assassin's Creed: Revelations is expected to hit the Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and Windows PC this November!

Those words echoed across the interwebz, and a lot of people were expecting big and pleasant news to come on May 4th, or what is now officially known worldwide as "Star Wars Day". Well, the countdown timer finally expired and now all is revealed... Which may excite or disappoint fans looking forward to something big happening to commemorate the special day of those who believe in the Epic Space Saga created by one George Lucas.

Yep, The Star Wars Saga is finally making its way to Blu-Ray this September. Whether you're happy about the news or not, one thing remains clear and certain - everyone is celebrating Star Wars day with a passion. Greetings to all you Jedi and Wookies out there, and May The Force Be WIth You... Always!

The Man of Steel turns 73!

The month of May yields a lot of pleasant surprises, for May 3 happens to be the day 73 years ago when Action Comics #1 was released and introduced to the world one of the most beloved and iconic heroes the world has ever known - Superman! Co-created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics, the Kryptonian born Kal-El would be the last survivor of his planet sent to Earth by his parents; Adopted by a loving earth couple and given the name Clark Kent, who would be raised up with a strong moral conscience and go on to champion the cause of "Truth, Justice, and the American Way", serving as a symbol of hope and justice against all evildoers!

Several publications in DC Comics and other forms of media have featured Supes fighting the good fight, but his milestone issue of Action Comics #900 just hit comic shops last week (with him renouncing his American Citizenship in a back up feature by famed screenwriter David Koepp). With a new movie reboot directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill in the titular role slated for release on fall next year, it just proves that this "Man of Steel" is still popular as ever. 73 years and counting, he continues to be an inspiration to fans and peeps the world over! With that in mind, there's only one thing left to be said:

Happy 73 Years Superman!

Rumor: The Avengers script leaked and movie delayed?

It may still be a year away, but excitement for Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios' live-action film adaptation of "The Avengers" is growing bigger and bigger thanks to the fact that "Thor" is now in theaters and production for the movie has officially begun. However, a new report posted over at Screen Rant suggests a rumor that the official script for the superhero team movie may have been "leaked", which may cause the Disney/ Marvel flick to be delayed. How and why this leak happened is up to debate, but it stems from a report from website Obsessed With Film that they have gotten their hands on a leaked copy of Samuel L. Jackson's script of The Avengers, codenamed "Group Hug" by Joss Whedon, and it has since spread online like wildfire with major SPOILERS on the film's plot. What exactly those said spoilers are were thankfully not revealed in Screen Rant's post, and I'd like to save myself from knowing what the movie's about until there is official promotional material released like posters and trailers.

Again, this may sound like serious news, but until there's official confirmation from Disney or Marvel, I'll take Screen Rant's article just as it is, a rumor. Discussing things at this point would be useless, and whether the script was leaked or not, delaying production will just complicate matters and will cause the film to miss its May 4th release date next year. All we can do is hope and pray that nothing obstructs the filming process for what would be, in Robert Downey Jr's words, the "most ambitious film ever made"! The Avengers are expected to assemble and fight the good fight in theaters on May 4, 2012!

Spider-Man Reboot Update: Set photos reveal Oscorp in the movie!

Set photos have appeared online in sites like Slash Film showing off new developments in Marc Webb's upcoming Spider-Man flick - "The Amazing Spider-Man"! Aside from the fact that the reboot will focus more on Peter Parker's high school life and have him fight The Lizard, little is know about the actual story. However, the new set pics shot in NYC may shed some light into the mystery, as the "Oscorp" logo appears prominently in one of them. That means that Norman Osborn, aka The Green Goblin, may factor into the movie somehow. We'll just have to wait and see when more details sprout out in the coming months. For more info and the set photos, check out Slash Film!

The Amazing Spider-Man is slated for release on July 3, 2012!
