Literally turning up the heat with what comes next for the X-Men Movies franchise, Entertainment Weekly has revealed their cover to their next issue revealing stuff and juicy details for "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" - the next installment of the X-Men prequel universe where veterans James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, and Jennifer Lawrence return as Professor X, Magneto, and Mystique, while new blood like Alexandra Shipp, Evan Peters, and Sophie Turner return as Storm, Quicksilver, and Jean Grey respectively.
Directed by Simon Kinberg and based partially on the famous storyline by Chris Claremont, Dark Phoenix picks up in 1992 and sees the X-Men as national heroes. However an adventure to outer space for a rescue mission has severe consequences when a solar flare passes and affects Jean - causing her to unleash catastrophic powers as The Phoenix.
