Fans of the live-action Rurouni Kenshin/ Samurai X films are going to get very good news today, as Warner Bros. Japan has officially announced that star Takeru Satoh is returning as Himura Kenshin in the final 2 “Rurouni Kenshin” films.
According to Anime News Anime News Network, the two films -
“Jūji Kizu no Naze (Mystery of the Cross-Shaped Scar)” and “Saikyō no Teki・Enishi (Most Terrifying Enemy - Enishi)” - will adapt the prequel and the final chapters of the Kenshin story. Keishi Otomo returns to direct the films, with a Summer 2020 release planned.Warner Bros. Japan has also opened an official website for the movies.
