Recap: Parasite wins big and others take home gold in the 92nd Academy Awards


It's a BIG WIN for director Bong Joon-Ho and his cast and crew of the popular 2019 South Korean film "Parasite", as the Non-English Asian Film took home FOUR ACADEMY AWARDS - including "Best Original Screenplay", "Best International Feature Film", "Best Director" for Joon-Ho, and finally the big prize in "Best Picture"! That is history made in the Oscars - one of the most prestigious award ceremonies celebrating movies and filmmaking, and Parasite has earned its place in it.


Also taking home the gold is Joaquin Phoenix, who won "Best Actor" for his portrayal of Arthur Fleck and the titular character in Warner Bros. and Todd Phillips character study film "Joker". Phoenix gave a personal and resounding acceptance speech. Renee Zellweger took home "Best Actress" for her main role performance in "Judy", and Laura Dern was awarded "Best Supporting Actress" for "Marriage Story". Brad Pitt nabbed his first personal "best Supporting Actor" award for his portrayal of stuntman Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood".
