Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Live Stream Announce Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth (aka FF7R Part 2), and Third FF7R Already in Development!

 


It's a pretty awesome and happy time to be a Final Fantasy VII fan, as Square Enix celebrated 25 years of the original FF7 and its legacy with a livestream digital event that ran for 10 minutes and absolutely had some exciting announcements to share with the fans and gamers!

First off, the long rumored and teased remake/ remaster of the PSP game "Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII" is real, and a trailer has been released announcing "Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion" for the PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam this Winter!

FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH – First Look Trailer

FF7R Rebirth is scheduled to be released next Winter, meaning we'll be seeing it some time in late 2023 for PS5!


And of course the FF7R team led by Tetsuya Nomura have a special message - development of the third and final part of the FF VII Remake Trilogy has begun!
