New PlayStation 5 Slim Models Revealed, New PS5 Digital Edition Has Optional Attachable Disc Drive

 

Three years into its lifespan and just in time for the upcoming holiday season, Sony and PlayStation have officially revealed the brand new look and slim models for the PlayStation 5 - which according to the PlayStation Blog have

been "reduced in volume by more than 30%, and weight by 18% and 24% compared to the previous models", plus an updated 1TB SSD internal storage to boot. The brand new models will still come in two versions customers can choose from - the standard disc version which allows physical media and Blu-Ray discs to be played, while the digital version has the option for users to add an Ultra HD Blu-Ray Disc Drive - which will be sold separately.
