On March 3, Jean-Luc Picard and his ragtag crew return for another season of adventure - this time with some familiar faces returning as "Star Trek: Picard" Season 2 releases a new poster and trailer to promote the upcoming new set of episodes coming to Paramount +.

Set to premiere this January 23rd and bringing back an old legend for a new adventure, CBS has released a new clip for "Star Trek: Picard" - which features Patrick Stewart reprising his familiar role as Jean-Luc Picard - who is quietly enjoying retirement in his own farm home alongside his dog and companions.

Set to “Make It So” this month in CBS All Access and international territories, “Star Trek: Picard” will feature the return of Sir Patrick Stewart as the legendary starship captain as well as a few familiar faces - as they join new characters in an adventure that takes the retired hero out for a bold new journey. Variety has featured and spotlighted Stewart in their latest issue, and the English actor has featured some photos in his official Facebook page.

If you're a Star Trek fan and haven't heard the news yet, Patrick Stewart and the rest of the cast and crew of the new Trek series "Star Trek: Picard" were in attendance for the 50th annual San Diego Comic-Con and didn't just hold a panel presentation talking about the upcoming show... They also showed the first full teaser trailer for the it! Showing an older and retired Jean-Luc Picard once again played by Stewart, the former admiral and captain of the U.S.S Enterprise D and E is called back into action as events related to the destruction of Romulus and his former career make him decide to leave his quiet life in solitude.

Also seeing the return of familiar faces like Brent Spiner as Data, Jeri Ryan as Seven of Nine, Jonathan Frakes as William Riker, and Marina Sirtis as Deanna Troi - this will be a reunion of characters from Next Generation and Voyager - which will be a treat to longtime Trek fans!
Star Trek: Picard - consisting of ten episodes for its first season, will premiere sometime in early 2020.
