It's October already, and by the end of this month, gamers will finally see the long awaited console release of Tekken 6, the 3D fighting game brawler from Bandai Namco Games. Since it was first introduced to us in arcades almost two years ago, T6 was the first installment in the long running King Of Iron Fist Tournament series to not get a direct port to home systems immediately, and it's a smart move by the developers, since it extends the lifespan and replay value of the game in the Arcade. It also allowed Bandai Namco the time to sort out certain issues and tweaks, as well as adding new content for fans to enjoy, which culminated in the update game, Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. Now, after a long, hard wait, Tekken fans will be able to take the game home for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PSP by the end of this month, and I'm pretty hyped up for this game already. In fact, the full cinematic intro for the game made its way to You Tube, and it was shown to me by my friend Billy. Check it out below and see how it looks:
As expected, it's an extended version of the original T6 opening; Another typical cinematic introduction. While it's a nicely done CG piece, I still prefer the intro to Bloodline Rebellion. If you haven't seen that, here it is:
Much better and more stylish. Hope there's an extended version of this that rotates with the other intro in the console version.
Tekken 6 hits the PS3 and 360 on October 27. Watch out for it.
