In case you haven't caught on the news, Sony is celebrating 22 years of Sony Playstation and is once again holding their annual "Playstation Experience" event, where everything and ANYTHING gaming in Playstation is showcased and revealed in a gathering made for the players! Some of the highlights can be seen at Sony's Playstation channel in YouTube (as well as the LiveStream), but you can feast your eyes at some of the reveals that came up with the PSX '16 Keynote!
FIRST UP. Naughty Dog started the show by unveiling a NEW Uncharted adventure coming that features the return of Chloe Ross, who teams up with Nadine Ross for "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy"!
Then comes the BIG REVEAL for those who heard the rumors and whispers and have seen supposed leaks. Capcom crushes all of that and shows their OFFICIAL new installment to the Marvel Vs Capcom series - "Marvel Vs Capcom: Infinite"! Seen in the FMV trailer is Ryu and Iron Man returning to fight... Along with newbies Captain Marvel and Megaman X!
Then the other "worst kept secret" by Capcom stood officially revealed... AKUMA COMES TO STREET FIGHTER V as the first new character for "Season 2" of the DLC content for the game... Who arrives on December 20!
Then there are a couple of announcements like remasters of Parappa The Rapper and the Crash Bandicoot games and the release of Garou: Mark of the Wolves and Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 for PS4 (And a NEW trailer for RE7 that you can see here)... But when the show closed, the other BIG SURPRISE came in the form of Naughty Dog showing... THIS.
Yes... Joel and a grown up Ellie are COMING BACK for The Last Of Us Part II!!!
And to close things off Keynote, Hideo Kojima showed off a newly scored version of his "Death Stranding" trailer featuring Mads Mikkelsen and Guillermo del Toro!
It's a GOOD TIME to be a gamer and Playstation fan... YES!
