A New Era Begins With "Mortal Kombat 1" - Arriving on September 19

 

After much teasing and hyping since the end of Mortal Kombat 11 and making many fans wonder what the next direction for the series will be, Warner Bros. and NetherRealm Studios have finally pulled the curtain and revealed the next instalment of the long running "Mortal Kombat" franchise with "Mortal Kombat 1" - which will see the new universe made by Fire God Liu Kang as he ushers new kombatants, destinies, and of course the tournament fought between mortal men and women defending their realms.

With that reveal comes the promise of yet another big batch of fighting game sequels - Street Fighter 6 first, then this, and down the line Tekken 8 and more franchises.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be release on September 19 for PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
