The Resident Evil 2 Remake is getting the pitch from R&D team
After making some noise in the official Facebook page of the game, the Resident Evil R&D team has officially announced (as reported by Destructoid) that they have pitched the idea of actually (and FINALLY) making an actual Resident Evil 2 Remake, as confirmed by Yoshiaki Hirabayashi.
If this is going to be real and official after the pitch, then HOPEFULLY that remake will be in the style of the 2002 Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil 0! It seems that fanmade Resident Evil 2 Reborn did its work and made people notice.
We'll just have to wait and see how it goes now...

Happy Birthday to the man behind The Dark Knight Trilogy - Christopher Nolan!
It's July 30 and a Throwback Thursday... And also the birthday of the man behind what would become one of the most definitive interpretations of Batman in film for all time.
Today, those films still stand the test of time, and serve as the inspiration behind what is now being being forged as the DC Cinematic Universe. It's not a part of that world... But Nolan himself served as executive producer for the first foray in that universe with Zack Snyder's Man of Steel in 2013. The director's exploits and work also extend to action and sci-fi gems like Memento and Inception, but it goes without saying that his mark in the superhero film industry certainly left it's mark for all time.
Again, Happy Birthday Christopher Nolan!

ICYMI: Mark Hamill WILL voice The Joker in "Batman: The Killing Joke" animated film
Finally confirming the longstanding rumors and petitions to get the perfect man to play the role of the Clown Prince of Crime once more, Collider has broken out the news that veteran actor Mark Hamill will be returning to voice The Joker for the much anticipated animated film adaptation of "Batman: The Killing Joke" - which is widely considered to be the one if not THE greatest Joker story ever told.
Voicing his enthusiasm to "unretire" the role of Mistah J if a Killing Joke movie were to happen, Hamill last voiced Batman's greatest nemesis in the Batman Arkham games, and recently featured again in Batman: Arkham Knight, where he was a hallucination brought to life in The Dark Knight's mind that constantly hounded him like so (SPOILER WARNING):
Now all we need is an exact release date and Kevin Conroy to return as Batman too.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain: "Stained in Blood" poster released by Hideo Kojima
In what is surely one of the most anticipated and controversial games coming out in a few months time, Konami and Hideo Kojima have released a brand new poster promoting the latest entry in the long running Metal Gear Solid series with "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain", which features Venom Snake/ Big Boss and the new character Quiet on the one sheet, all covered in blood and looking ready to take on anything coming against them.
The poster, tweeted by Kojima and posted on Comic Book.com, comes with the tagline in Japanese that's translated as "Stained in Blood, The Aftermath of Revenge", which pertains to Snake and his army MSF/ Diamond Dogs mission seeking vengeance for the atrocities committed against them. The poster also evidently lacks the "A Hideo Kojima Game" label that is always associated with every MGS game, as internal tensions and issues between Konami and Kojima-san will see the latter depart from the company after work on The Phantom Pain in finished.

SDCC '15: First Arrow Season 4 teaser poster possibly unveiled
In San Diego Comic-Con, there's bound to be plenty of things that suddenly appear out of nowhere and surprise fans of a specific fandom or show... And in the case of The CW's hit superhero TV series "Arrow", that may very well be the case in what appears to be the first snippet of the Season 4 teaser poster!
Tweeted by We Are Lotzers and then reported by Bleeding Cool, this sudden promotional image for the show looks very convincing - With the big surprise being Stephen Amell still wearing the familiar Arrow Mk. III uniform he had to give up following the events of Season 3. The rest of the cast of course is present, with Felicity backing Ollie up as John Diggle and Captain Lance give somewhat disapproving looks. On the other side, Laurel Lance and Thea Queen are suited up as Black Canary and Speedy, while Malcolm Merlyn is true to form in a variant of his archer attire... Possibly representing his ascension as the new Ra's Al Ghul.
Either way, we'll have to wait for The CW to either confirm or show off more as SDCC 2015 carries along.
Arrow returns with its Fourth Season in The CW this Fall.

Rocky Spin-Off film "Creed" releases first trailer
Hitting theaters at the end of the year and serving to continue the popular "Rocky" film franchise by heading to a new direction, MGM, New Line Cinema, and Warner Bros. have unleashed the very first trailer for "Creed", which focuses on Adonis Johnson Creed - son of Rocky Balboa's late rival turned best friend, Apollo Creed.
Playing the titular role is Michael B. Johnson, who turns to none other than Sylvester Stallone's Rocky himself for training and a chance to live up to legacy of his father.
Creed will be released on November 25 this year.
