Adam Copeland, better known as the "Rated-R Superstar" wrestler Edge, has announced his retirement from wrestling on this week's Monday Night Raw due to injury. It's a heartfelt goodbye to arguably one of the most hardworking if not best superstars ever to grace wrestling and the WWE in particular. As with everyone who loves wrestling, I cannot stress my shock over the news. I was fortunate to actually see Edge compete live when he and the rest of the WWE toured Manila in 2005, and his performance and dedication to wrestling in general earns him much deserved respect. Here's a toast to you, and thank you Edge!
