Come April 15, one of the most recognizable faces in Nintendo for the past 15 years will be stepping down from the spotlight, as Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime has confirmed that he is indeed retiring - and is handing the "keys of the kingdom" to Doug Bowser (yes that's his last name). The man has literally made headlines since he stepped into E3 2004 and made a statement on behalf of the legendary video game company that publishes amazing games featuring iconic characters such as Mario, Link, Zelda, and Donkey Kong, and remained a stalwart presence moving the company forward with innovations like the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo 3DS, and today's Nintendo Switch.
So long, farewell, and thank you Reggie! Happy retirement and you'll always be a Nintendo guy for life!
