The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2013 is currently happening as of this post, and Microsoft just wrapped up their E3 2013 presscon, showcasing what to expect from their newest and upcoming eight generation console, the Xbox One. Priced at $499 and coming this November 21st, the new console is home to some exclusives like a new Killer Instinct game (ULTRA COMBOOOOO~!) and Dead Rising 3, as well as unique Microsoft titles like a new Halo and an impressive new mech shooter called "Titan Fall". However, the console is also getting something extra... And that's Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
Also slated to be released for the current console market (PS3, Xbox 360, and PC), MGS V will be the first MGS title to hit the next generation of video game systems, namely the Xbox One at this point. Following that announcement, Konami and Kojima Productions have showcased a new gameplay/ story trailer that shows Naked Snake/ Big Boss (now voiced by Kiefer Sutherland if you haven't heard, not David Hayter) getting back in action after recovering from a nine year coma and losing his left hand. Guided by his nemesis Ocelot, the legendary soldier called Big Boss embarks on his first mission on Afghanistan since his return, and that's to rescue his comrade and partner from Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker - Kazuhira Miller.
Check out the trailer below. Thanks goes to Geek Tyrant for the YouTube link and post.
