While "Empyre" rages on as the current summer event and crossover spanning several titles in the Marvel Comics universe, the House of Ideas is already gearing up for its next offering at the end of 2020 - and it's a Venom centered storyline that has been building up for the past two years in the character's solo title and tie-in crossovers that will finally see fruition come December.
Say hello to "King in Black" - which will see the God of Symbiotes, Knull, come to Earth and deal with the symbiote we know best - Venom aka Eddie Brock and his "other". The story will be written by Donny Cates and illustrated by Ryan Stegman - reuniting the Venom team and also seeing the other heroes and characters of the Marvel Universe - including Spider-Man, the Avengers, and the X-Men joining in on the fight - which will definitely spell a lot of disaster and carnage as they try to repel the oncoming attack.
