The Avengers: Alternate Opening Scene revealed online

Via Yahoo! Movies and Superherohype, Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios has revealed one of the extras that'll be packed with the DVD and Blu-Ray release to their blockbuster superhero team flick this year, The Avengers! *SPOILERS ahead, so read at your own risk*

The alternate opening featuring Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill paints a flashback recall sequence where the second-in-command of S.H.I.E.L.D reports her happenings to superiors after what goes down in the final battle in New York City.
