Iron Man 3: New "Iron Men" Poster surfaces online
With several character posters and an Empire Magazine cover popping up for Iron Man 3, it's no surprise that a really epic one sheet would follow shortly... And indeed it has. Through the interwebz and Robert Downey Jr. themed Tumblr website I Heart Cupcakes, a brand new "Iron Men" poster has appeared in some theater, showcasing a battle damaged Iron Man with Tony Stark's helmet missing and him looking mighty pissed off... With a number of Iron Men, or Iron Legion, in the background (UPDATE: His destroyed California home) under his control!

We'll just have to wait and see how that pans out, so for more on this new poster, check out the source post at I Heart Cupcakes and Bleeding Cool!

Iron Man 3: "Pepper Potts" poster released online
Following the release of several character posters which includes Ben Kingsley as The Mandarin, Marvel Studios and the official Iron Man Facebook movie page have revealed the next entry in the series with a new one featuring Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts in this ominous looking poster for "Iron Man 3".
In the new one sheet, Pepper holds a damaged Iron Man helmet, which could either signify the aftermath of the attack at Stark's house in Los Angeles, or something that happens later when he clashes with The Mandarin. Either way, it'll all come full circle with a new trailer expected to be attached with Oz The Great and Powerful. For more information, visit the source post at the official Iron Man Facebook page!

Argo wins Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Film Editing at the 85th Academy Awards!
Argo truly was one of my favorite films of last year, and as a sleeper hit for Warner Bros, it deserves every bit of praise and adoration it gets. The Ben Affleck directed film not only had a great story, but a solid cast and tense screenplay that literally kept viewers at the edge of their seat. It's great to note that with the results of the 85th Annual Academy Awards now out in the open, Warner Bros, Ben Affleck, and the Argo team have taken home Best Film Editing, Best Screenplay, and the coveted Best Picture Award.
In celebration of Argo's victory, here's an Extended Movie Featurette features on YouTube on how this awesome flick was made:
Truly well-deserving and solid win for this flick that I enjoyed and reviewed back when it was released in theaters last October. Congratulations Ben Affleck and the store of a fake film being made during a real life rescue mission.
ARGO ----- YOURSELVES~!XD

Iron Man 3: "The Mandarin" poster appears
Marvel Studios has yet again released a brand new character poster for the Shane Black directed Iron Man sequel "Iron Man 3", this time spotlighting and featuring the armored avenger's greatest nemesis... The Mandarin! Played by Sir Ben Kingsley in the film and his portrayal looking more realistic as a terrorist leader, the head of the Ten Rings sits calmly in a throne room. wearing shades and pondering his next move in an intimidating manner. This proves without a doubt that the next Iron Man film will be darker, and will usher in "Phase 2" of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a big way! SPOILER ALERT: Batwoman #17 opens up a new chapter in the life of Kathy Kane
Those in the comic mend wil know that this week marks the release of Geoff Johns' second Justice League series with Justice League of America #1, with David Finch joining him for art duties. To say that's not going to be the subject of discussion between fans would be a false notion, but this week's Batwoman #17 by JH Williams III and Haden Blackman may just get the media buzzing as well thanks to a startling revelation by the end of the issue that marks a significant change in the heroine's life. SPOILER ALERT again for those who wish to remain in the dark about this and keep away. Like Batman Inc. #8 which finally arrives next week, this may make heads turn and jaws drop.

Iron Man 3: New "Aldrich Killian" Character Poster
Marvel Studios and the official Iron Man Facebook page have released a brand new character poster, this time featuring Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian in "Iron Man 3". In the comics, Aldrich Killian is a geneticist who becomes a crucial character in the comics when he develops "Extremis". In the classic Warren Ellis and Adi Granov Iron Man story of the same name, Killian commits suicide after a sample of his work is stolen. His suicide note is found by Maya Hansen, a co-worker and ex-lover of Tony Stark... aka Iron Man.
Having Guy Pearce playing the role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is still something of a mystery, as how Extremis fits into the film version is still unknown until the movie comes out. Still, it'll be fun how he and Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark interact in the film, as well as how all of this ties down to the inevitable conflict with The Mandarin, played by Sir Ben Kingsley. For more on the poster as well as other Iron Man 3 updates, visit the official Iron Man 3 and Marvel Cinematic Universe Facebook Pages!

SPOILER ALERT: Batman Inc. #8 cover hits online early
As a big Batman fan and collector, I enjoy Grant Morrison's run on The Caped Crusader and his new direction on the fight against crime with "Batman Incorporated". Not only does Bruce Wayne expand his reach against the cowardly and superstitious worldwide, but the rest of his Bat-Family and allies across the globe get exposure. The first volume of Batman Inc. during the Pre-New 52 era of DC Comics gave us a good look at how expansive that reach was... Now Volume 2 has sank danger's teeth into the core of Batman and his team... With big repercussions to boot.
That being said, next week's release of Batman Inc. #8 is said to have great ramifications for a certain mainstay Batcharacter and a fan favorite. It's pretty much a solid guess who it was going to be... But surprises could be in store for readers especially after what went down with this week's Batman #17 and the conclusion of the Joker centered storyline "Death of the Family". Now, the same guy who spoiled Marvel's "The Amazing Spider-Man #700" does it again with Batman Inc. #8. BE WARNED. THIS IS HEAVY SPOILER MATERIAL, so look at your own risk.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

X-Men: Days of Future Past: Bryan Singer casts Peter "Tyrion Lannister" Dinklage!
Looks like there's a lot of exciting things to look forward to with Bryan Singer's return to the X-Men franchise, as the director of X-Men, X2, and the upcoming Jack The Giant Killer just dropped a bombshell announcement on his official Twitter page that actor Peter Dinklage is going to be in X-Men: Days of Future Past!
For those who don't know the importance of this awesome Valentine's Day announcement, it means that the actor who plays the awesome Tyrion Lannister from HBO's highly successful Game of Thrones TV Series has been cast, and while the role is unspecified at this point, he'll be joining X-Men alum Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James McAvoy, and Michael Fassbender! This will put Thronies and Xfans in a frenzy of excitement... And I'm among them to boot!
In related Days of Future Past news, Singer also revealed that parts of the movie will take place in the 1970's, and the period's US President Richard Nixon will be playing a part in the plot of the movie. Just WHO plays Nixon remains to be seen, but the director teased it would be an "interesting casting choice". Iron Man 3: New "Iron Patriot" Character poster revealed
The official Iron Man Facebook page has released a brand new character poster for "Iron Man 3", featuring none other than Robert Downey Jr./ Tony Stark's close friend and confidante Lt. Col. James "Rhodey" Rhodes... aka War Machine/ Iron Patriot! Played once again by actor Don Cheadle (who took over the role of Rhodey in "Iron Man 2" after Terrence Howard wasn't cast back for the role), the new one sheet shows Rhodes in full Iron Patriot attire sans helmet, staring sideways amidst an sunset ocean backdrop and looking ready for the worst. The previous Iron Man 3 poster showed the same backdrop, only with Tony Stark/ Iron Man in his Mark 47 armor damaged and falling from the sky!

Wreck-It Ralph: Awesome 60 second live action short film
Wreck-It Ralph has got to be one of my favorite Disney films in recent memory, and it's an admirable achievement for those behind the House of Mouse for combining an endearing story within a video game universe setting. Seeing tributes, nods, and cameo appearances of your favorite characters from such memorable gaming series as Pac-Man, Street Fighter, and Sonic The Hedgehog just hit the spot right on, and relating to the main character Ralph and his quest to become a true "Hero" just proves that even a bad guy has a big heart of gold when he tries to do what's right and important in life.
That being said, this awesome short film recreates the entire Wreck-It Ralph story... In a mere 60 seconds only!

Green Lantern: Geoff Johns, Peter J. Tomasi, and co. leave the GL Books come May
Come May 2013, the entire bookline of Green Lantern will see the end of not only the "Wrath of the First Lantern" arc, but also the departure of each and every creative member that's been a staple and figurehead for the series for years! Big name writers like Geoff Johns and Peter J. Tomasi will take their leaves from Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps respectively, while Tony Bedard and Peter Milligan leave Green Lantern New Guardians and Red Lanterns. Artist Fernando Pasarin also leaves GL Corps, and suddenly the entire emotional spectrum is left null and void for new creative talent to take a stab at.
Thanks to Bleeding Cool's post and DC Comics' May 2013 solicitations, we truly see the end of an era with Green Lantern. Geoff Johns - arguably the man responsible for reigniting interest in the Green Lantern mythos and beyond, is finally putting his swan song on the map with Green Lantern #20. It's really a tearful goodbye to a book that has been one of DC's strongest points prior to and during the New 52 era, and it's gonna be hard to see a GL book the same way again after he leaves. Readers know that he's still a figurehead on Justice League and Aquaman, but Geoff's contributions to Green Lantern and the big crossover stories of the past few years like Blackest Night have been nothing short of spectacular and amazing. The same can be said of Peter J. Tomasi, who held his own with Green Lantern Corps, and is doing an amazing job at Batman and Robin. To them and the rest of the creative team leaving, here's a tip off the hat to you guys. May the next generation of writers and artists of Green Lantern and its family of books do the same amazing job you guys did!

Superior Spider-Man: May Spidey Solicitations reveal the end of Superior Spider-Man?
Since the end of the "Amazing era" last December 2012 and the subsequent debut of a new kind of Spider-Man come January 2013, Marvel has left fans divided over the fate of Peter Parker and his alter ego with "Superior Spider-Man". Despite the change in the status quo, it's been a terrific run by Dan Slott, and his gamble has certainly paid off in terms of telling a wealth of interesting stories. I've picked up the first three issues (with issue #3 arriving this month), and the action and drama from the changes isn't showing any signs stopping anytime soon... Until now that is.
Jumping a few months ahead, Marvel and Comic Book Resources have released a preview of the May solicitations for Spider-Man related titles, and it teases what may be the end of Superior Spidey as we know him now... And the return of a very familiar to boot! If you don't know what's actually happening in the pages of the new ongoing series, it's SPOILERIFIC territory from here on out.
SPOILERS AHEAD, So look ahead at your own risk!
