Fans of Michael Bay's Transformers film series finally have something to look forward to fro Transformers 4, as several websites following updates on the new sequel flick have come across what appears to be the first plot details of the film. Following the announcement that the film takes place a few years after Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the new installment sees Hollywood actor and musician Mark Wahlberg starring in the film.

According to Geek Tyrant and following the announcement that the movie will be filmed in Detroit, Michigan, here is a description/ note on the first plot details to surface for the film:
"Transformers 4 picks up after the end of Transformers: Dark of the Moon after a battle left a city broken, but the world was saved by the Autobots.
As humanity picks up the pieces, following the conclusion of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Autobots and Decepticons have all but vanished from the face of the planet. However, a group of powerful, ingenious businessman and scientists attempt to learn from past Transformer incursions and push the boundaries of technology beyond what they can control – all while an ancient, powerful Transformer menace sets Earth in his crosshairs. The epic adventure and battle between good and evil, freedom and enslavement ensues."
Take it with a grain of salt first, but could it be that a certain Planet Eating Transformer from the animated "Transformers: The Movie" will FINALLY make his appearance in the next Bayformers movie?
