Star Trek 2 Update: First teaser pic?

J.J Abram's 2009 Star Trek was a masterly woven reboot, and a sequel is definitely in the works for a 2012 release. Other than news on the cast returning and little script details being leaked, not much has been shown about the next film... until now that is.


Via Collider and a post on i09, the pic you see above is the Starship Enterprise herself with a "Summer 2012" caption below the Star Trek title, as tweeted by Montgomery Scott actor Simon Pegg via his Twitter!
