In a move that's possibly tied to promote the next G.I. Joe movie release on 2013, IDW is going to relaunch their premiere "G.I. Joe" comic book this coming February.
Written by Fred Van Lente and illustrated by Steve Kurth, the new ongoing sees the Joes' secret identities compromised, forcing them to do battle against COBRA in the public eye. With the release of G.I.Joe: Retaliation happening the next month on March 29, 2013, it's a good way to repromote a classic 80's franchise anew for a new generation of fans.
