Released a few days ago, the long-awaited trailer to the film adaptation of the post-apocalyptic zombie flick "World War Z" finally goes online. Starring and produced by Brad Pitt, it is based on Max Brooks' epic zombie novel of the same name, but having a different premise altogether than that of the source material. Pitt plays a United Nations employee named Gerry Lane, who tries to save his family from the zombie outbreak with the UN's help and is subsequently drafted to find survivors and a way to stop society from collapsing altogether.
Here's the first official trailer for the movie. For more info on the movie, which is directed by Marc Forster, visit the official World War Z website.
World War Z opens in theaters on June 21, 2013.
