Resident Evil: Revelations confirmed for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC

Coinciding with the celebration of Resident Evil 2's 15th Anniversary, Capcom has officially announced that their once "exclusive" Nintendo 3DS survival horror game "Resident Evil: Revelations" will officially be making the jump to next generation consoles this year! Due for release on May 21st, the handheld RE game takes place between Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, and stars series mainstay characters Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine, who fight to survive another biohazard threat in a supposedly abandoned cruise ship.

The game will see release for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC platforms, and will include some new features - namely new weapons, enemies, items, and a new playable character in Raid Mode... The 4th Survivor of Raccoon City himself - Hunk!

In terms of gameplay, here's a sample of how the game looks like from its 3DS days.

SPECIAL MENTION:

In honor of Resident Evil 2's 15th Anniversary, here's a wonderful tribute video I found on YouTube that pretty much commemorates the good 15 years of survival horror goodness I enjoyed with this classic. Give it a watch and relive zombie and T-Virus nostalgia!
