The official Silent Hill Facebook page has revealed the official box cover art for the upcoming home video release of Silent Hill Revelation! A sequel to the 2006 Silent Hill film and an adaptation of the Konami Survival Horror video game series of the same name, Revelation is based on the events of Silent Hill 3, and focuses on Heather Mason as she ventures into the cursed town to rescue her father and discover her origins. The movie starred Adelaide Clemens as Heather, while Game of Thrones stars Sean Bean and Kit Harrington played supporting roles as Heather's father Harry Mason/ Christopher Silva and Vincent.
Originally released in theaters last year October in 3D and conventional theaters as "Silent Hill: Revelation 3D", the Blu-Ray edition will have two releases - One in 3D and 2D, and both versions will come in combo packages that include a DVD and/ or Digital Copy of the film as well.
While initially not making the final cut for the initial theatrical poster releases, this cover art for the Blu-Ray is pretty creepy, and is literally a darker reflection of the first Silent Hill film's poster!
Silent Hill Revelation sees terror unleashed in home media this February!
