SPOILER: Detective Comics #19 "Mystery of the 900" WTF Cover revealed by Previews
CORRECTION UPDATE: It's Detective Comics #19, not "Batman #19" as initially posted.
A new month begins, and so does a wave of new "Previews" to enjoy for those who delve into the world of comics, toys, games, and just about anything in the world of popculture! That being said, DC Comics has revealed the full cover to the mega-sized New 52 issue of "Detective Comics #19" on the newest issue of Diamond Comic Distributor's "Previews". It's part of a new "WTF" cover initiative the publisher is starting in the month, as well as the fact that had the New 52 not happened, Detective Comics #19 would have been the hero's 900th title - hence the mega-sized price and celebration status the issue celebrates.
SPOILERS of course follow since it pretty much gives off what the "Mystery of the 900" is, so peak at your own risk.
You have been warned!
And there you have it. An army of MAN-BATS descend and get ready to strike at the Dark Knight. It's not a clear indication yet that this is the fabled "Mystery of the 900" the Caped Crusader faces in the story, but now Batfans and readers have an idea of how serious things will get on the jam-packed issue. Again, this is just the first of the "WTF" covers that DC has prepared, which they tot as 'game-changing" for their heroes and titles throughout the month of April! They're still playing coy as to whether or not they'll revert back to the old numbering
