DC Comics reveals July 2013 JL covers forming the "Trinity War"

The BIG EVENT reveal for DC Comics this year has arrived.

Ever since the teasing began prior to last year's Free Comic Book Day, little has been detailed as to what exactly the "Trinity War" is. However, once FCBD 2012 happened. a special "DC Comics: The New 52 FCBD Edition" was released giving readers more insight into the conflict to come, including the introduction of the Trinity Of Sin - composed of The Phantom Stranger, The Question, and a new character introduced in the DC universe-changing Flash centered storyline "Flashpoint" named Pandora. The latter character served as the bridge and physical presence behind the construction of the new "New 52" universe, and the comic also teased a war that would divide the Justice League and have other factions join in the conflict as well.

Now, the BIG COVER REVEAL has come, and it's a splash cover that involves not one, but THREE books joined together to form an image of EPIC proportions.

Thanks to Bleeding Cool, the covers to DC's July issues of Justice League #22, Justice League Dark #22, and Justice League #6 have been revealed, showing off the literal beginning and showdown of the "Trinity War" that fans have waited for over a year! Drawn by the very talented "Blackest Night", "Green Lantern", and "Aquaman" artist Ivan Reis, the conflict pits the original Justice League against the government and Amanda Waller sponsored Justice League of America, with the magic users and dark heroes of Justice League mixed in as well. Pandora is the prize and curled down in the center, holding on to the mysterious item known as "The Box" and images of The Phantom Stranger and The Question looking on at the battle. It's literally epic in scale, and one can only wonder what will go down in the first BIG crossover for the New 52!
