Courtesy of SHH, here's that snapshot, of Spidey doing one of his signature poses amidst a white background, and the title of the movie right above him! For more information, visit the source post at SHH!

Fanmade: Idris Elba as Green Lantern John Stewart
This is a fanmade poster mock-up that caught eyes and was featured in DC Cinematic Universe's Facebook Page. Given the fact that Ryan Reynolds played Hal Jordan and Mark Strong as Sinestro in the 2011 live action Green Lantern film, one can only wonder what could have been if there was an actual follow-up/ sequel that improved on the first's flaws and mistakes.
This would probably be one of them... The pitch is sound, and it actually works!
Yes... Idris Elba, aka Heimdall in Thor and Major Stacker Pentecost in Pacific Rim... AS JOHN STEWART.
Fanmade... BUT AWESOME... And if it were true... BEWARE HIS POWER, FOR TONIGHT HE WOULD BE CANCELLING THE APOCALYPSE, BLACKEST NIGHT WISE.
Visit DC Cinematic Universe for more treats like these!

Arrow: First shot of Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger appears online
Fans anxiously awaiting the return of Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen in the hit superhero TV Series "Arrow" have less than a month to wait before the action star returns as "The Hood", and there are already plenty of revealing details popping up of who else in the DC Comics superhero community will be making an appearance in the show!
Just a few days ago, it was revealed that Grant Gustin was cast as Barry Allen/ The Flash, and now we get the first pic of another DC Character played by a known actor that fans will be pleased to hear and see appearing in the show - Michael Jai White as Bronze Tiger!
Looking at this shot alone, it looks like things are going to get really intense between Arrow and Tiger, and Michael Jai White isn't a pushover either when it comes to fights either! An expert Martial Artist in his own right and having played the movie version of Spawn, Mortal Kombat character Jax in "Mortal Kombat Legacy", and making an appearance in "The Dark Knight" as Gamble, it's great to see Mike playing a well-known anti-hero hero in the DC Universe, and his appearance in the show based off the character Green Arrow will add some excitement to those looking forward to the series' return. In fact, producer Marc Guggenheim says to fans of Bronze Tiger that they'll be happy with his "Arrow-fication", so that show be reassuring enough as it is. The Future of Law Enforcement has been remade for the new generation.
Making its way to theaters on February next year, Columbia Pictures and MGM begin official promotions for director Jose Padilha's bold new reimagination of the cybernetic pop culture cop and hero, Robocop. After seeing the very first trailer of the movie released the past week, the filmmakers have graced the world with a slick theatrical poster that shows that while different, the new version of Robocop means business, and he's surely going to be taking names.

Remembering 9/11 and Comics that paid tribute to the real heroes...
It's the week where we remember and will never forget... And where everybody stood tall and came together to honor those who fell and gave their all to assist those in need.
That being said, I couldn't take my mind off particular issues of comicdom that reflected on the event, which was both ominous, silent, and poignant in conveying the thoughts and feelings of what many felt during the events of 9/11 12 years ago. One miniseries in particular by DC Comics shared the notion of paying tribute to the brave men and women who gave their all with "extraordinary courage" in the two-part "9-11".
Marvel also had a dark and solid take on the matter with their "Black Issue" of "The Amazing Spider-Man #36", which saw Peter Parker's alter ego and the rest of the Marvel Universe band together in the midst of the crisis that befell all during that dark time.
Outside of the superheroics and villainy, the real heroes do what they do to lend their fellowman a helping hand. We honor the brave and courageous by remembering.
Always remembered. Never forgotten.

Jurassic Park 4 gets retitled as "Jurassic World" and set for a June 2015 release
After months since the last update and confirmation came to place, looks like Steven Spielberg's return to the world of Dinosaurs is back on track for 2015... And literally, it'll be a bigger emphasis on the word "world".
Announced by Universal Pictures, the new sequel to the Jurassic Park film franchise that was once titled "Jurassic Park 4" will now be called "Jurassic World", and will see Spielberg return on a producing capacity. Helming the new film will be director Colin Trevorrow, whose past films include the 2002 Home Base and 2012's Safety Not Guaranteed. Trevorrow also wrote the draft for the screenplay alongside Derek Connolly, though no details have surfaced yet on the plot for the film.
It's safe to assume that with the title "Jurassic World", the dinosaurs won't be limited to a park or an island... And may just explode into the global scene with catastrophic results ala The Lost World: Jurassic Park. Time will tell for sure how it goes, and with the rerelease of Jurassic Park in 3D giving us a taste of the conversion, the new film will be entirely shot in this format. For more information, visit the source post at Coming Soon.
Jurassic World comes to 3D and conventional theaters on June 12, 2015.

Marvel Movies: Ant-Man moves up release date; Coming on July 2015
Looks like Phase Three of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is coming a little bit earlier after Avengers: Age Of Ultron hits on May 2015!
In a move that's four months up from its scheduled release, Edgar Wright's film adaptation of the Marvel Super Hero Ant-Man has now made a new screen date of July 31, 2015! Previously, the film was slated by Walt Disney Pictures and Marvel Studios for a November 6, 2015 release, ushering in "Phase Three" of the MCU after Avengers: Age Of Ultron, which comes out on May 1st of that year. The move also puts Ant-Man two weeks after Warner Bros. Man Of Steel sequel and untitled "Batman Vs Superman" film, which hits on July 17, 2015.

DC Comics: Geoff Johns leaving Aquaman with issue #25; Francis Manapul leaves Flash; Marriage and Superheroes
Looks like a shift in status and creatives in specific DC titles has been on as of late, and one particularly popular DC Comics title is saying goodbye to one of the publisher's most significant writers in recent history.
This coming November, DC Comics Chief Creative Officer and writer Geoff Johns will be signing off from his two year run on Aquaman - A title he helped resurrect and make into one of the most popular reads in DC following the New 52 relaunch in 2011. Johns, who helped redefine Silver Age heroes The Flash and Green Lantern pre and post New 52, capped off a stellar run on the latter Emerald Warrior and his mythos early this year, and now bids farewell to the King of the Seven Seas. Replacing him will be Batman '66 writer Jeff Parker, who takes over from issue #26 onwards. With Johns' time set on Forever Evil, Justice League, and Batman: Earth One, it's probably a good time to say goodbye to the world of Arthur Curry/ Orin/ Aquaman. More on the story via Bleeding Cool.
On related news, some controversy arose on the status of Aquaman's marital status, particularly to his queen and wife, Mera. It seems that ever since The New 52 began, Aquaman was NOT married to her at all, leading to some fans wondering how that all came to pass. Since Batwoman creators JH Williams III and W Haden Blackman have left their book due to creative differences following their marriage idea for the character with Maggie Sawyer getting nixed, this has caused quite a stir, and how the status of married superheroes are affected in the long run. A good article by Bleeding Cool makes good on tackling "DC Comics and the War against Marriage". Read it up and have a looksie.
Also, Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato are leaving The Flash following issue #25 as well. Their departure however coincides with the release of an as of yet unannounced DC project. What that is, time will tell. More on the story via Comic Vine.

Batman Vs Superman: Josh Brolin WAS in talks to play Batman/ Bruce Wayne before Ben Affleck
Even if we have a new Batman in the form of actor/ director Ben Affleck for the upcoming "Batman Vs Superman" movie for 2015, there was a time when anyone could have been Batman, and rumors suggested that one of the prime candidates was MIB 3 and Jonah Hex actor, Josh Brolin.
Despite what this nice fan art that's circulating the web may show, it didn't come to pass. Yet the man himself has officially confirmed via The Huffington Post (c/o Batman-News) that he WAS in consideration/ talks to possibly take the role, which would have been opposite Henry Cavill's Superman.
In the interview, Josh confirms he was considered by director Zack Snyder and Warner Bros, but just that.
"We did. I didn't have any conversations about it, but Zack, that was part of his idea. It just didn't turn out. It's OK. It is OK. You know, another scenario might have worked better, but I'm happy for Ben."
And there you have it. While Brolin didn't get the part, he certainly would have been a good choice following his acting chops in several films as of late. He did get to play a DC Comics character in the form of Jonah Hex at least (despite bad reviews for that film), and he'll be taking up the lead in Spike Lee's remake of the South Korean thriller film "Oldboy", which comes out this November. For more on the story, visit the source posts at Batman-News and The Huffington Post.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past: Hugh Jackman may play Wolverine for the last time?
It's a stellar time for X-Men fans, as work is finally heading to post production for Bryan Singer's upcoming 2014 sequel to two X-Men timelines with "X-Men: Days Of Future Past". That being said, it may also be the last time Hugh Jackman reprises his signature role of Logan/ Wolverine, the fan favorite feral X-Man who's the best at what he does and is arguably the central figure in the X-Men film franchise.

Just as the cover shows, "Evil Is Relative"... And Rising in the New 52 as "Forever Evil" ushers in the reign of the Justice League's Earth-3 counterparts - The Crime Syndicate.
Drawn by artists Ivan Reis and Joe Prado, the cover to October's upcoming issue of Justice League #24 shows the polar opposites of the heroes - Ultraman, Superwoman, Owlman, Johnny Quick, Power Ring, Atomica, Deathstorm, and The Grid taking center stage... In a cover the mirrors what Jim Lee draw two years ago, for DC Comics' New 52 debut issue of Justice League #1.
Now that Villains Month and Forever Evil are in full swing, can the heroes turn the tide and restore order to the new DC Universe? Only time will tell. For more information on the cover, visit the source post at DC Comics.com.
Justice League #24 goes on sale on October 16th.
